South Kingsville Place is the 5th and largest project in The Place Series – a thoughtfully considered collection of projects by local developer Metro and award-winning architects Clarke Hopkins Clarke. The series was conceived to address global challenges around disconnection, home affordability, and climate change.
Located in Melbourne’s vibrant inner-west character villages, South Kingsville Place comprises a neighborhood of 99 solar-powered townhomes that give families space where it counts, keep energy bills low, and help build community.
Melbourne’s inner west has an exceptionally diverse demographic. Residents in this area are more price-sensitive than those living a similar proximity to the CBD to the north, east, and south. They are family-oriented, and see themselves as practical, logical, and astute, with important decisions driven more by convenience and lifestyle factors than by status signaling. Potential buyers needed compelling reasons to envisage their futures at South Kingsville Place – especially given tough market conditions such as rising interest rates, inflation, and cost of living pressures.
From this, the ‘Good Thinking’ concept was born – highlighting the good thinking that was employed in the design and planning, while simultaneously affirming people’s decisions to enquire about or buy into the project.
